Simulation Exercise, Exercise, Manual
An open toolkit for youth workers and trainers that combines inclusive entrepreneurship, critical thinking, GenAI ethics and local-lab design, with ready-to-run activity sheets, no-tech variants and Youthpass links. Free under CC BY 4.0.
- Equip youth workers and trainers with ready-to-run, non-formal learning activities on inclusive entrepreneurship, critical thinking and digital transformation.
- Build critical thinking and media literacy skills to recognise misinformation, bias and manipulative content, online and offline.
- Support the ethical and responsible use of generative AI in youth work, linked to the MYTHIC Code of Conduct.
- Help youth organisations design local labs and initiatives for young people, with simple tools to plan, measure and show impact.
- Make every activity accessible: inclusion adaptations, no-tech variants for low-resource settings, green tips and safeguarding notes.
- Connect learning to recognition through Youthpass and evidence capture.
The MYTHIC Toolkit for Youth Work & Digital Transformation is an open educational resource developed within the Erasmus+ KA153-YOU project "MYTHIC – Mobilising Youth Training on Holistic Innovation & Critical Thinking". It is based on the training course for youth workers held in Ružomberok (Slovakia) in May 2026 and turns that programme into a practical, reusable resource.
STRUCTURE
The toolkit follows a complete training sequence, which can be run as a full course or used activity by activity:
- Foundations of Inclusive Entrepreneurship
- Turn-key Mindsets & Systems
- Think, Check, Act – critical thinking and information integrity
- GenAI & Digital-Creativity Sprint
- Local-Lab Design & Impact Planning
- Pitch, Showcase & Evaluation
ACTIVITY SHEETS
Among the activities: Youth-Reality Mapping; System Blueprinting & Eco-Canvas; Peer-Audit Carousel; Spot-the-Fake & Bias Busters (off-grid critical thinking drills); GenAI Ethics Fishbowl & Code of Conduct Clinic; AI-Enhanced Storyboarding & Communication Sprint; Lab-Canvas Drafting; Measuring What Matters (a one-page KPI and evidence framework); Pitch, Public Showcase & Open Badges Reflection.
Each activity sheet includes: purpose, time, group size, materials, step-by-step instructions, debriefing questions, inclusion adaptations, green tips, safeguarding notes, Youthpass key-competence mapping and suggestions for evidence capture. "No-tech" variants make the activities usable in rural and low-resource settings.
HOW TO USE IT
- As a full training course for youth workers and trainers.
- As single activities in youth exchanges, workshops and local youth work.
- As a reference for designing local projects and measuring their impact.
- Together with the MYTHIC Code of Conduct for the Use of AI in Youth Work, also available in the SALTO Toolbox.
