Manual
The Outcome IO3 Raise up Training Manual is realised in the Project Erasmus+ KA2 Youth "RAISE!" It offers a guidance and practical tools for young people and any activist or youth worker to develop alternative narratives to counter Hate Speech
The IO3 Raise up Training Manual has the aim to strengthen reactions to hate speech, by countering, counterbalancing and preventing hate speech and taking social spaces with positive narratives and stories of civil audacity. That’s why with the transformation of the case studies into Alternative Narratives, we understood how to stimulate deeper critical reflection on the complex reality we live in and its pathways as alternatives to hate spreading, through a positive approach.
The IO3 Raise up Manual is a Visual guidance manual that aims to support and work for social change within younger communities for countering hate speech and working for social change through positive actions and alternative narratives.
It is structured in different parts:
An Introduction
A project overview
Different definitions on Hate Speech and a common definition of hate speech agreed upon by the partnership
Countering hate speech through Alternative Narratives: What are alternative narratives
6 Case Studies and their alternative narratives
TIPs and Good practices as tools for building resilience against phenomena of hate speech
Conclusions

Together with the creation of the IO3 the Partnership also produced:
