A practical guide for youth workers with activities, facilitation tools, and inclusion strategies to address discrimination, challenge stereotypes, promote equality, and support meaningful participation of all young people.
The guide aims to strengthen the capacity of youth workers to promote inclusion and equality through non-formal education, while providing practical tools to address discrimination, support diversity, and encourage active participation among young people.
Learning outcomes:
• Increased understanding of inclusion, equality, discrimination, stereotypes, privilege, and power dynamics in youth work.
• Improved ability to design and facilitate inclusive non-formal education activities.
• Enhanced skills in creating safe learning spaces and managing sensitive discussions.

• Strengthened competence in using reflection, feedback, and debriefing methods to support meaningful learning.

This guide is designed for youth workers, trainers, facilitators, youth leaders, volunteers, educators, Erasmus+ project coordinators, and representatives of youth organisations and civil society organisations. It is particularly relevant for those working with diverse groups of young people and promoting inclusion, equality, participation, and non-formal education. The methods can be adapted for young people aged 15 and above.
