The tool helps to generate ideas and develop a range of activities to be carried in order to support learning process of young people and contribute development of learning to learn competence.

1. Facilitator presents the self-directed learning cycle based on the Boyatzis’ Theory of Self-Directed Learning (Richard E. Boyatzis, PhD) explaining the logic of each step of the cycle.
2. In smaller groups participants discuss and generate ideas on what could be done on each of the steps of the learning cycle in order to support self reflection and learning process a young person and what conditions are to be created.
3. Small groups share and discuss the results of their work.
