A guide accompanying youth workers step by step through the process of using comics to communicate in their daily activities.

Aims of the tool

The objectives of the tool are the followings:
- improve the quality of youth work
- offer to youth workers an informal learning tool to help them in their role as providers of non-formal learning opportunities to different targets
give youth workers an easy tool to be exploited in their daily work
- offer them flexible, updated, easy tailored made instruments
- empower youth workers, young new migrants and refugees
- promote the participation and active citizenship among new targets groups
-improve young new migrants and refugees' knowledge of the habits and values of the hosting country

Description of the tool

A guide accompanying youth workers step by step through the process of using comics to communicate, providing 15 strips facing the EU values. Each STRIP analysis is composed by three steps: a collection of reflection, questions, suggestions to work on the topic, a short glossary and tips to deep the topic under different perspectives.The glossary reports the key words reflected in the STRIPS.
The guide is an educational tool easy to use and able tosupport youth workers in developing their daily
activities and their channels of communication
with the ultimate goal of sustain young new
migrants and refugees in their integration path.
