The Project Canvas 2.0 can be used by youth workers, educators and young people who want to develop their own project. It is a canvas with different sections and guiding questions you can use personally or through guided discussions

Aims of the tool

- developing the basis of a project
- being a tool to help young people see what is missing in their projects and to be used like a checklist when developing projects

Description of the tool

The Project Canvas 2.0 was originally used in 2024 and was adaptad by Ada Açelya Daloğlu and Marie Braun taking inspiration from Niels Floor's ,2013 Learning Experience Design Canvas . It was adapted to be used to teach young people different dimensions of a project and what they need to establish to make successful projects. Since it was widely liked by participants, in 2025, the Canvas got an upgrade to better reflect the needs of young people when developing projects and became a central tool to teach young people this skill. This time, the Canvas made use of the T-Kit 3: Project Management, a manual published by the Partnership Between the European Commission and the Council of Europe in the field of youth. The tool was used throughout a 5-day program where young people focused on the different aspects of their project, but it was also experimented with in a 2-hour online meeting. The tool was successful in both cases in providing a checklist to help participants see the missing/completed elements of each aspect, as well as providing a general overview of their project. In the download, you will see 2 pages.
- On the first page, an empty canvas that young people can fill in freely
- On the second page, the canvas with the questions a person would need to answer when developing a project or when filling out a grant application
