The booklet is a result of the Wide Open Windows Project, hosted in Ommen, The Netherlands, in October 2014. The aim was to promote peace building through Outdoor Activities. All activities included in the booklet are created by participants of WOW.

Aims of the tool

The aims of the booklet are:
- to share and spread beyond the collected educational tools and methods used and performed by the organizing team, youth leaders and participants during the exchange.
- to serve as a fruitful asset for peace building in alternative way and in connection to the nature
- to be used by yout workers, non-formal educators or other people interested in using learning by doing and exploring peace with alternative ways.
- to bring awareness on 4 different types of peace: Inner Peace, Peace with Others, Group Peace, Peace in Nature, as developed during the exchange.

Description of the tool

The booklet follows the structure of the youth exchange. There are 4 main columns, represented by each of the four chapters of the main body of the booklet:
1. Inner Peace: cited activities for finding peace with one's own self.
2. Peace with Others: find activities for cooperating in peace with other people
3. Group Peace: we collocate group activities tacking peace in a group
4. Peace in Nature: we share idea of practicing all the previous in real outdoor activities.
