Using the method of interpretation of a scenario, this tool aims to provide participants with an effective way how to communicate online and diffuse situations.
The participants will get a deeper understanding how communication online can lead from one text message to a heated argument. Using the pause-translate-respond method, they will be able to prevent these situations by interpreting messages without immediate emotional response and communicating clearly.
Participants will be split into small groups of two or three and in them, they will get assigned few scenario cards with text messages. Using the pause-translate-respond method, the participants will translate the text into neutral language and choose to respond in one of several ways.
