On the spot - How to stop youth dropout!
This booklet we have summarized the main reasons of early school leaving, and we also share practical tools suitable to use in group works or personal consultancies when working with young people to stop youth dropout.
Aims of the tool
In this booklet we would like to share methods which are used in different areas, from social work through education, communication trainings, self-development, career consultancy, so that we can support young people more sufficiently to prevent school dropout.
Description of the tool
The first part of booklet contains background information on early school leaving, revealing the main characteristics behind it.
The second part is focusing on practicalities: shortly summarizing good practices which are useful in the prevention on school dropout.
The third part is the most important: it contains individual and group activities, which could be useful when working with young people who are in a risk of early school leaving. The aim of these activities are based on the reasons of dropout: with the activities we reach on those reason with corresponding activities, so that we can eliminate, or even stop early school leaving.
