Group Division
This is a workshop based on the famous and well-known Word Café but reshaped into the NEETs topic.
To get more awareness about the situation with NEETs. Creating useful discussion about the problems that the NEETs face and their solution.
Small groups of 5-6 people will have 10 minutes to stand around a flipchart paper with a question in the middle. Around the question, they will put their written thoughts on the topic of the question. Each paper will have moderator. The workshop ends when each of the groups has discussed each questions. With this workshop the participants which will be NEETs will have the chance to think deeper on the topic of youth unemployment and youth inactivity and the reasons behind them. They will have the chance to hear other peers’ opinions as well. Useful discussion will be initiated.
Sample questions for the NEETs Café can be:
- How can you explain the definition of NEETs?;
- Are NEETS not-active because they want so?;
- What are the most important reasons for an young person to be inactive?;
- What is motivation?;
- What should the government do in order to help NEETs?;
