MENTGEE is a structured mentoring handbook developed within the PeerMent project to support responsible, reflective, and effective mentoring practices in the Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI).
The guide was co-created by the project partners to complement the MENTRA training programme and to provide mentors with a practical reference resource that can be used independently or alongside structured training activities. It was developed in response to the need for clearer mentoring frameworks, tools for expectation management, and structured reflection within creative sector mentoring relationships.
MENTGEE supports mentors in strengthening autonomy-oriented mentoring approaches while maintaining ethical awareness and role clarity.
PeerMent aims to professionalise mentoring practices in the Creative and Cultural Industries by equipping mentors with practical tools, reflective methods, and clear role positioning.
Clarify mentoring roles, responsibilities, and boundaries in real mentoring contexts.
Strengthen core mentoring skills (listening, questioning, feedback, trust-building).
Increase awareness of power dynamics and expectations within mentoring relationships.
Support digital and hybrid mentoring practices through intentional tool use and communication structure.
Supporting continuous learning and capacity-building.
Enable sustainable mentoring models that organisations can reuse beyond the project duration.
