Manual for Immersive theatre in youth work
This publication was developed within the framework of INCA Catalunya's Erasmus+ Youth
Accreditation.
Aims of the tool
The Immersion Lab is fundamentally aligned with the educational principles of the Erasmus+ Youth
Programme. It actively fosters the development of Key Competences for Lifelong Learning
identified by the European Union, alongside vital transversal skills such as intercultural competence,
participation, facilitation, creativity, and reflective practice. Through its immersive, participatory,
and arts-based methodology, participants engage in a dynamic learning process that seamlessly
integrates personal growth, artistic creation, social engagement, and active community
involvement. Youth Exchanges
Creating spaces where participants from different social and cultural backgrounds can meet,
exchange experiences, and develop personal, artistic, and professional competences.
Training Courses
Seminars, artistic residencies, and local follow-up activities that promote active participation,
democratic engagement, and intercultural dialogue.
Collaborative Learning
Non-formal education methodologies grounded in performing arts as creative tools for
reflection, critical thinking, communication, and social engagement.

framework of transnational collaboration, experimentation, and collective artistic practice
