The Fashion Manifesto “Made in pain” encouraged people to spend less on fast fashion things and look at the bad side of the business and chose sustainable options.

Aims of the tool

- Encourage critical thinking about fast fashion and consumer habits.
- Promote ethical and sustainable fashion values.
- Inspire participants to develop their own style responsibly.
- Raise awareness about environmental and social issues in the fashion industry.

Description of the tool

The drawing created during the Fashion Manifesto activity presents a powerful message about the hidden reality behind fast fashion. The T-shirt illustration, labelled “Made in Pain,” symbolizes the exploitation and unfair conditions often faced by garment workers in the fashion industry. Written on the shirt are several personal commitments and statements encouraging people to reject harmful fashion habits and adopt more sustainable choices.
