This booklet is a follow-up to the “Gamification” TC, which was organised by OpportUNITY. It s about Live Action RolePlaying (LARP) games – the participants prepared six different educational LARPs (Edu-LARPs) scenarios as a remarkable tool for education.
The main aim of the Training Course was to foster mutual understanding between young people coming from European and non-European countries, as well as, to contribute to further
development of innovative and engaging methods to be used in the field of youth work: in this case - Live Action RolePlaying (LARP). Main goals of Edu-LARPs are to enhance debating, discussion and persuasion skills, negotiating and achieving a compromise, increase empathy and understanding, improve leadership skills and team work, as well as gaining knowledge in a certain topic.
Edu-LARP scenarios presented in the booklet can be used for specific educational goals – they require physical, intellectual, and emotional engagement of the Players and generate educational outcomes with high efficiency.
