The publication contains the collection of good practices in outdoor education which were developed in the framework of the project "Labirint: training course on outdoor education for youth workers"
- to share good practices which were developed during the training course
- to get youth workers familiarised with outdoor education methodology
- to show the diversity of outdoor activities
- to popularise outdoor education and experiential learning approach in youth work
This tool is a compact publication, which contains the collection of good practices - ready-to-go outdoor sessions, which could be implemented by youth workers for various purposes.
There are 5 educational sessions in total with the duration from 90 min to whole day activities, which you can consider organising as a part of the educational process.
The sessions have different learning objectives ( from appreciation to nature and gratitude through meditation, to big team-building missions) and they can be easily adjusted for the learning needs of your target group.
The sessions presented are:
1) Trust session ( outdoor trust activities)
2) Save the Captain ( the role play)
3) The day Hike
4) Morning outdoor meditation session
5) Outdoor reflection through art
