Cazalla Intercultural, in cooperation with the Municipality of Lorca and the international partners Replay (Italy), Praxis and SCCB (United Kingdom) have carried out the OLE (Open Learning Experience) project, co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme, with the aim of increasing the quality of language teaching for young migrants, in order to improve their learning opportunities through activities that develop their linguistic, social and intercultural skills.
As a result of this project we present the KEY manual: Language Learning as a Tool for the Integration of Young Migrants. It addresses issues such as interculturality, discrimination, language learning in multicultural contexts, non-formal education and gambling, as well as family learning. It proposes practical activities to combine language learning with the development of other transversal skills in the classroom and to promote empowerment and good treatment among pupils from diverse backgrounds.
