Video
Tool to be visualised during TCs dealing with the prevention of racism
The video is in French, but translation follows:
Woman:
I think there are too many racists in France.
Woman in bar:
If there were less racists, there'd be less unemployment. Isn't that right?
Boy:
My dad says you should never trust a racist.
Man:
I don't care. As long as my daughter doesn't bring home a racist.
Old woman:
Racists? There not even French!
Woman in bar:
Next thing you know, they'll be allowed to vote.
Youth1:
Racists? They're all thieves!
Youth2:
They're lazy!
Youth3:
...And liars!
Man with dogs:
Me and my dogs, we can't stand racists
Old man in wheelchair:
Well I'm telling you: if the National Health is in deficit, it's because there are too many racists!
Man in office:
For me, racists are no different to normal people. I even have a racist friend. Good family, well educated, decent.
Man:
Racists are not like us, they breed like rabbits.
Woman in market place:
Oh no! I'd never rent my flat to a racist. I don't want any trouble.
Man from earlier:
Like rabbits!
Woman at door:
With all these racists prowling the streets, we don't dare to go out anymore. Isn't that right René?
Slogan:
If racists had to suffer racism, they would probably be a little less racist.
