Healthy Body and Mind: A Practical Guide for Youth Well-being was developed during the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “My Main Objective: Healthy Body and Mind” (2025-1-PT02-KA152-YOU-000298490), which took place in Benfica do Ribatejo, Portugal, from 1 to 9 September 2025.
The guide was created by young participants and group leaders from Portugal, Greece, Romania, Germany and Croatia. It brings together practical methods, exercises, reflection tools and recommendations explored during the project.
The resource focuses on physical and mental well-being, healthy lifestyles, emotional resilience, inclusion, prevention of bullying, self-care and active participation. It includes non-formal education activities that can be easily adapted and used by youth workers, educators, youth leaders and young people in different learning environments.
The guide aims to support young people in developing healthier habits, improving well-being, strengthening social skills and promoting respectful and inclusive communities. It also provides practical tools that can be used in youth exchanges, training courses, local youth activities and educational settings.
