Presentation
The Fashion Manifesto artwork encouraged participants to express their individuality, confidence, and commitment to sustainable fashion through creative drawings and empowering messages.
- Promote self-expression and creativity through fashion.
- Encourage sustainable and conscious fashion choices.
- Challenge fast fashion culture and social stereotypes.
- Inspire confidence, individuality, and inclusivity.
During the “UpCycle Life” Erasmus+ youth exchange, participants created colorful Fashion Manifestos that reflected their views on identity, sustainability, and freedom in fashion. One artwork combined playful drawings, bright colors, and powerful statements such as “We are the canvas,” “Confidence is the main accessory,” “Style is not trend-chasing,” and “Fast fashion – we don’t need it!” The manifesto emphasized that fashion should be a form of self-expression rather than pressure to follow trends or labels. Through creative illustrations of animals, nature, and abstract patterns, participants connected fashion with individuality, positivity, and care for the environment. Messages like “Sustainability is sexy” and “No label defines you” encouraged people to feel confident in their own style while making responsible and eco-friendly choices.
