Description of the tool
Publication resulting from the Training course «ESCalate your IMPACT.
A training course for ex-ESC/EVS volunteers» held under the Erasmus+ Programme in Santander during June 2026, inviting them to reflect on volunteering and active citizenship. The final event of this activity was a Human Library event in a local social center. This activity is presented in detail in the toolkit.
It invites participants to share their international volunteering experiences by becoming “living books”. Through sharing their own stories and engaging in dialogue with other participants and the local
community, the activity promotes peer learning, empathy and reflection on the impact of the ESC, encouraging the exchange of experiences, challenges
and learnings.
