EcoMinds European Report – Climate Awareness, Green Skills and Youth Needs
The EcoMinds European Report presents the findings of research and surveys carried out in Türkiye, Italy and Greece on young people’s climate change awareness, green skills needs and expectations regarding the green transition.
Aims of the tool
This report aims to identify young people’s knowledge, attitudes and skills related to climate change, sustainability and the green transition. It also maps good practices that support greener ways of living and working, and provides an evidence base for youth workers, educators and organisations working on climate awareness and green skills.
Description of the tool
The EcoMinds European Report was developed as part of the Erasmus+ KA210-YOU project EcoMinds: Enhancing Climate Change Awareness and Solutions among Youth.
The report combines desk research and web-based survey results from Türkiye, Italy and Greece. It explores how young people understand climate change, how prepared they feel for the green transition, and what kinds of practical tools and green skills they need for their personal and professional lives.
The report also presents examples of good practices related to sustainability, green jobs, environmental awareness and climate adaptation. Its findings informed the development of the EcoMinds: Build a Sustainable Office mobile game.
