Document is a short summary with descriptions about the 2 week volunteering team project funded by the European solidarity corps programme, done on a permacultural farm in a small rural community.
To share about the project, activities and results, spread the info about the importance of sustainable living in harmony with nature, solidarity and volunteering,
From 8th to 24th July 2019, 16 volunteers from 6 countries (Spain, Italy, Greece, Germany, Finland and Slovakia) took part in the "Ecocentric 2019" volunteer project.
Volunteers were helping in the Centre for creative solutions of the association, on a permacultural farm and in the local community, helping the elderly that needed help in the seasonal work on the land. Thus, volunteers contributed to developing the association and local community, in the same time being enriched with a unique experience of living on a self-sustainable permacultural farm.
Volunteers learned about the sustainable ways of living, green energy and it's efficient usage, recycling, permaculture and organic food growing, healthy vegetarian food and benefits of the above mentioned on the climate, environment and health.
