The EATWISE card game is an interactive and engaging learning tool for young people (12+ years old). It is an opportunity to find a space for encounter, dialogue, and mutual discovery while playing and actively involving people.
Thanks to its simple and interactive format, the game facilitates the interaction among people with different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, who can share their stories and personal experiences, and reflect on the impact of their food choices. At the same time, they learn together through exchange and play. It explores sustainable food practices, traditional dishes, ingredients, and food-related customs
from different cultures in an immediate, participatory, and accessible way. Through the interaction of small groups (3-5 players per group), players can highlight how diverse culinary traditions can contribute to more sustainable and inclusive food systems.
This card game offers a concrete opportunity to discuss about key topics such as sustainability and interculturality not only through informational materials, but also through collective experiences. It is part of a broader path developed by the EATWISE project thanks to an international partnership composed of Associazione Popoli Insieme ODV, Edu Playground, Agora Aveiro, Mano Europa, Asociatia Centrul pentru Dezvoltarea Instrumentelor Structurale e Belen Kaymakamligi.
