Aims of the tool

The aim of the tool is to share and to disseminate best practices of volunteering programs from 6 Eu countries which are specifically effective in 2 main areas: Chapter 1: Volunteering programs 4 skills empowerment of disadvantaged young
adults (Neet, low qualified, with lack of
soft skills) in the participant countries Chapter 2: Volunteering programs 4 skills empowerment of unemployed people in the participant countries.
This tool was realized in the frame of an Erasmus+ project entitled "Yes volunteering", supporting the exchange of best practices in adult education from 6 Eu countries .

Description of the tool

The learning outcomes for social workers using this E boo are the followings:
-increased knowledge about non-formal education techniques for adult education, as well as on strategies and methods to educate adults to active citizenship;
-increased skills and knowledge for the implementation of new models of educational volunteering (social and cultural volunteering aimed at skills empowerment)-increased attitude of trainers and social workers toward the participation in planning e implementation of innovative multi stakeholder social innovation projects in the area of social inclusion of disadvantaged people.
