This booklet is a result of training Youthworker 2.0 on how to work with complicated situations that may occur when working with groups of participants at voluntary projects and trainings. Hopefully it will be useful for other leaders and trainers.

Aims of the tool

The aim is to support youth workers, youth leaders and youth trainers - basically anybody who works with groups at various projects. The booklet should give them context, practical solutions and inspiration.

Description of the tool

This booklet is a result of the 1st training in project Youthworker 2.0 on how to work with complicated situations that may occur when working with groups of participants at voluntary projects and trainings. The booklet summarizes background theories we focused on and worked with (such as non-formal education context, group dynamics, conflict management, feedback, mediation...) together with personal experience of the participants and real life examples of complicated situations and how to deal with them. It also summarizes other inspirations we gathered during the training - energizers and teambuilding games, relaxation techniques, how to work with learning diaries etc.

This booklet was created by all the participants and the team of the training course.
