Handbook sums up the activity of Erasmus youth exchange Dance it out.

Aims of the tool

- to promote the importance of physical activity in countries and regions with the biggest obesity problems, particularly by the Zumba exercise

- to help young people to understand that obesity is dangerous and needs to be tackled in a timely manner, as well as to show them the possible negative consequences of an inactive and unhealthy lifestyle

- raise public awareness of the European Union's 2020 health and sport objectives, get rid of the prejudices against Zumba, explain its health benefits, promote this sport towards the public, show that it is a useful, entertaining and sustainable sport that everyone can practice

- exploit, develop and disseminate innovative and rational strategies to create awareness of healthy lifestyles for young people, contribute to the Healthy Eating and Active Life Program

Description of the tool

A total of 30 participants (aged 17-25) participated in the Erasmus + project Dance it out! from Turkey, Spain, Lithuania, Croatia, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
They carried out creative and interesting activities which are described in the tool.
