To break the ice, to reduce the distance between participants, to start the day in a funny way, to make people cooperate and take responsibility for each other.

Description of the tool

* All stand on the beam, without touching the floor. Then the groups have to go and stand in alphabetical order (on first name), or in order of birthday (age is generally not appreciated!), in order of shoe size etc.
Pitfalls : it goes without saying that the beam should not be too high to avoid your participants piling up underneath it. Think of people with reduced mobility (a wheelchair-user might have one wheel on the beam for example).
