Have you heard about Eastern Partnership Youth Window? Are you ready to open this "window" for your organisation?

Are you interested in developing international youth projects which involve young people from rural or deprived urban areas?

Do you want to create a new partnership with organisations from the Youth in Action Programme Countries and Eastern Partnership Countries (i.e., Armenia, Azerbaijan,Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine)?

Four full working days - arrival 4th March until evening (Sunday), departure 9th March from morning (Friday) 2012.

Aims

Objectives

  • Bringing together people working with young people in order to create new project ideas within the Youth in Action Programme;
  • Creating an atmosphere of common understanding between people representing different cultures, working styles, etc.;
  • Providing knowledge about the possibilities of cooperation within the Youth in Action Programme with special focus on Eastern Partnership Youth Window;
  • Presenting examples of efficient and successful cooperation within Eastern Europe and the Caucasus;
  • Building new partnerships between Programme countries and partners from Eastern Europe and the Caucasus  with a clear commitment to provide support to young people with fewer opportunities living in rural or deprived urban areas;

Participants

CMS "Go East!" will bring together 40 voluntary and professional youth workers from the Youth in Action Programme Countries and Eastern Partership countiries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine): youth leaders and project coordinators working directly with youngsters, who are interested in setting up YiA projects for young people from rural or deprived urban areas.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

The selection will be carried out by organisers of the seminar, based on the criteria specified in the "participants profile" section.

The applicants are requested to fill in the on-line application form. The call for participants will be open till 12th of February 2012.

The selected participants will be informed directly till 20th of February 2012.

Team of the trainers

Team will be composed of 3 trainers experienced in international cooperation within European Community Youth in Action Programm:

Moreover the representatives of German and Polish National Agencies of the YiA Programme as well as the the representatives of the SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus Resource Centres will join the team.

Organisers

This activity is organised by the SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus Resource Centres in cooperation with the German and Polish National Agencies of the Youth in Action Programme.

Financial Conditions

  • The board and lodging during the training course for all participants will be provided by organisers,
  • Travel costs of participants from Eastern Europe and Caucasus will be covered by organisers on the basis of original tickets and invoices,
  • Travel costs of participants from Programme Countries will be paid by relevant National Agency on its own principles,
  • Local transport and insurance costs have to be covered by the partcipants. Please bring the documents to confirm this contribution.
