Study Visit "Youth work in Russia"

Date and Venue

The Study Visit "Youth Work in Russia" took place from 24 till 30 June 2006 in Central-East part of the European part of Russian Federation. It was planned to visit youth organisations in Moscow and Nizhniy Novgorod regions as well as in Chuvashia and Tatarstan.

Participants

We selected 25 participants, both -  youth workers from YOUTH Programme countries as well as NAs' officers.

Applicants fulfilled following criteria:

• Were representative of the youth organisation or organisation working with young people, whom were able and authorize on behalf of its organisation to create future projects ideas
• Had basic knowledge about YOUTH Programme on decentralised level (experience in projects with Third countries is very welcome)
• Had experience from minimum 1 multilateral YOUTH project (other non-formal education experience was an additional advantage)
• Were prepared to participate in follow-up or evaluation activities organised by the National Agency or SALTO-YOUTH network
• Were prepared to actively attend and contribute during the full duration of the SV

Working language of the Study Visit was English
