Who was there?

SALTO aimed to bring together people from a variety of areas and backgrounds - in order to build bridges between these different target groups.

On the one hand, we invited the providers of non-formal learning opportunities, both from the youth sector (youth workers, trainers, youth organisations) as well as staff from (one of) the biggest European YOUTH programme (YOUTH National Agencies, EuroMed National Coordinators, SALTO-YOUTH).

On the other hand, we invited relevant policy makers and stakeholders who can influence the process of recognition of young peoples' skills gained through youth work, whether this is representatives from the formal & vocational education sector, social partners from the labour market or representatives of ministries and institutions...

And of course we invited many experts from the 'recognition field' to stimulate the discussions with inputs and facilitation from.
