“YOUTH WORK FOSTERING SOCIAL INCLUSION OF YOUNG PEOPLE WITH FEWER OPPORTUNITIES: A TOOL FOR YOUTH TRAFFICKING PREVENTION”

The training activity took place
in Thessaloniki, Greece
organised by EMNYTP
10-19 August 2014

Aims & objectives

The course constitutes the first step towards developing a holistic resource package for capacity building on networking and NFE for child and youth trafficking prevention. It was designed for youth workers and trafficking prevention multipliers to use as a basic NFE toolbox for responding to the specific needs of the learners and promoting, accordingly, knowledge, skills and attitudes.

The TC was intended to provide both practical skills for engaging in youth-led and youth-centered nonformal education and some underlying theory to help you define and develop your own approach to NFE for youth trafficking prevention. Based on two previously developed EMNYTP NFE resources, the workshop intended to represent a combination and elaboration of those resources in order to bring together the best thinking from the past with the most current approaches in the field of NFE for child and youth trafficking prevention in Europe and globally.
