Youth Training Academy

The training activity took place
in Lithuania
organised by Zero generation
1st December - 10th December 2018

Aims & objectives

The Goals of the event are for participants:

– To develop a professional and ethic youth trainer attitude;

– To develop soft skills that will be handy for training delivery and training program design;

– To be able to design, deliver, evaluate and follow-up an effective training program;

– To develop strategies and a personal network for further development of individual skills, and broaden personal knowledge on their own after the event.
* be aware of NGOs training system and what is expected from them as trainers.
* grow their trainer’s knowledge, experience and practice further
* create a group network among participants and trainers, with a future perspective

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

We were a team of 7 people all from different countries. Malta, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Belgium, Germany, Greece and Norway. We had weekly Skype meeting for 2 months until the week of the event.

Training methods used & main activities

Basically we use Kolb's experiential learning also known as 4mat; why, what, how and what if part do design our sessions.

Outcomes of the activity

Basically with this training we are training youth from several NGOs and student associations to become trainers.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

i was part pf the trainer's team where I had my share of trainings to deliver through out the event. I have delivered more than 30 hours for sure.

I worked on this training for 10 days days as a full time trainer.
