The 8 days TC applied a multidimensional approach to tackle the intersectiontionality between age, gender and employability and examine methodologies, learning principles and desired outcomes in empowering young NEET women to participate meaningfully in social life and decision-making.
Hosted by the EMCCCD, the TC brought, in Perea, Greece 40 youth workers from Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal, Italy, Romania, Armenia, Tunisia, Egypt and Georgia in order to discuss and learn about the role of youth work in promoting inclusion, participation and active citizenship of young NEET women.

Training methodology was based on interactive NFE methods, seeking to empower participants` knowledge and skills to design and implement international youth projects, tackling the issues of gender and employability and looking into the factors that cause young NEET women`s vulnerability to social and economic exclusion.
Participants benefitted from non-formal training sessions on creative methods for youth social entrepreneurship and will have the opportunity to develop a Bank of Youth Entrepreneur`s Ideas for inclusion of young NEET women in Europe and the neighboring countries.
Using the methods of human rights education and intercultural dialogue, the TC contributed to the personal development of participants; improved their social skills, intercultural communication and project writing and deepen their knowledge on the opportunities that the “Youth in Action” program offers to young people.
