Aims & objectives

This project was developed as a youth democracy project under the Youth In Action Scheme.

It enabled Young People involved in youth parliaments and youth councils to come together and share their experiences of youth participation, and democracy as well as develop new skills to support their local projects with

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The Project brought together 4 youth projects, two from Germany and 2 from the UK. The young people were aged under 18 and included a number of young people who were deaf.

Training methods used & main activities

The project used Youth Work Techniques in Particular conferencing and multimedia

Outcomes of the activity

100% of participants evaluated the activity as
"excellent" or "very good" during the evaluation.

All participants were able to identify learning they would be able to implement in their own organisations.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My role included developing the YIA bid and designing the project . The training was lead by me with support from lead associates from each organisation

I worked on this training for 7 days training, project managing for over 10 months days as a full time trainer.
