TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

the objectives were:
- to share experience of organizing environmental activities in EU/EECA
- to explore possibilities and share best practices of volunteer involvement in environmental projects
- to create new partnerships and develop ideas for concrete projects in the frame of YiA between EU and EECA countries
- to provide resources/skills to improve the quality of projects and cooperation between organizations in EU and EECA
- to develop and promote friendship, mutual understanding, tolerance, respect and harmony among European youth
Team included Armenian and Czech trainers. The group consisted of participants from EU, South East Europe and EECA regions, including organizations from Russia, Latvia, Armenia, Czech R., Georgia, Croatia, Moldova, Italy, Ukraine, Lithuania, Romania, and Albania.
Working methods were based on non-formal and participatory learning methods. They included welcome/evaluation space, working sessions, parallel workshops, visit to areas interesting from environmental point of view, water monitoring test, open space, market of organizations, developing projects and ideas. The chosen methods were based on interactive participation to allow the best input and involvement of participants.
The project activities and methods were directed to reaching short-term outputs, as well as long-term impact and sustainable cooperation among participating organizations.
As a member of the trainers' team, I was in charge of preparation, implementation and evaluation of the training course together with other colleague. I planned and conducted activities directed to team building, sharing knowledge, skill building and evaluation of the program.
