Aims & objectives

Project “voice your say or have your voice” is a training course about development of cooperation tools between youth and youth policy makers at local level. The aims of a project were to build up sustainable system of co-management in youth policy in local level, increase competences and develop common understanding on youth policy.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants of the course were from Poland, Ukraine, Latvia, Russia, Lithuania and Belarus, each country 4 participants. Groups consisted of 3 young persons and 1 policy maker from municipality.
The team consisted of 4 trainers from Belarus, Lithuania, Russia and Ukraine and 1 support person from Lithuania

Training methods used & main activities

Methods of the training course were based on principles of non-formal education.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants of the training course developed and implemented 2 follow-up projects. Youth democracy project within YiA programme was implemented by participants from Lithuania and Latvia. Participants from Ukraine implemented the project "Development of youth policy on local level". The project included monitoring of implementation of youth policy on regional level in Donetsk region (Ukraine) and development of recommendations for a new regional youth programme.
