Training of Trainers and Government Officials

Aims & objectives

-To reflect on the current situation concerning youth work and youth policy in Turkey.
-To improve participants skills and competences on the practices of youth programmes of the Council of Europe.
-To promote the values and principles of the Council of Europe.
-To train participants on NFE and self-directed learning.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Youth workers from Turkey. International group of 4 trainers: 2 from Turkey, 1 from Azerbaijan, 1 from Greece.

Training methods used & main activities

NFE, participatory methods based on experiential and self-directed learning.

Outcomes of the activity

-Participants developed competences, skills and attitudes on youth policy and youth participation, reflecting the values of the Council of Europe.
-The report of the first residential meeting will be available after the completion of the LTTC.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
