Participants at this training course were youth workers, project coordinators and trainers from 8 European countries. The team was consisted of trainers from the United Kingdom and Macedonia.

Training methods used & main activities

During the training course we used methods of non-formal education in order to create an appropriate learning environment by focusing on learning by experience, reflection on the past activities of the participants, discussions about the key competencies of youth work and discovering training competencies and methodology. It included various types of learning activities and formats to provide the youth workers with considerable flexibility in adapting the educational programmes to the specific needs of participants.

Outcomes of the activity

Greatest outcome of the activity was that the participants developed their skills for designing and facilitating trainings. The participants learned the most during the "praxis" part, when they had to plan and implement non-formal education sessions in small groups.
