TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

The Theodor Heuss Kolleg empowers young people to play an active role in the local communities. In frames of a scholarship program, young people can implement their own community projects and they are counselled and guided by the mentors. The goal of the training for mentors was to give the mentors necessary knowledge, as well as specific tools and methods on mentoring, coaching and counselling, both professional as well as related to the project management.
The group cinsisted of about 15 people from Ukraine and Poland in the age between 18-32. The participants are active as mentors youth projects implemented in the local communities.

The outcomes of the project was a tool box of specific methods and skills for mentors and coaches created for each mentor during the training. Each mentor has elaborated its own strategies and ways of approaching the coachee and trained them during the ToT. A report and photo documentations were prepared.
I was a full time trainer together with one person (Ukraine). I have designed the trainings programme, prepared materials. During the training I have facilitated all activities and was responsible for designing the learning process. Afterwards I was responsible for the preparation of the report and photo documentation.
