Aims & objectives

We do believe that only youth educator understanding group process might support young people in their growth and both social and individual development. It will be a short training course, there won‘t be a lot of time but it will be a good starter for further experiences for those interested in working with group, professional and personal development.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

In this course you will work in partnership with a diverse range of people from across the Europe. The participants will consider what interpersonal skills are important when working with youngster especially those with difficulties.
Partner countries: Romania, Italy, Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Czech Republic.

Training methods used & main activities

During course we will invite you to reflect upon yourself as the leading person, your individual working style. There will be a chance to develop your interpersonal skills that are crucial when working with groups of youngsters. Participants will be reflecting upon their relations with others - about the way they tend to communicate. Participants by better understanding themselves will able to understand others needs and communications styles what will happen by work in intercultural group and usage of innovative and interactive working methods.

Useful collection of tools for youth workers, including outdoor education methods and group process based methods.
