The aim of the training course is:
To increase the understanding of the Youthpass in the Youth in Action Programme and support its implementation process contribuiting for the recognition of non-formal education and learning in Europe
Objectives are:
To provide the learning opportunities on international level by creating possibilities for sharing experience and developing expertise in non-formal education
To deepen the understanding and knowledge of Youthpass by exploring its potential as a tool in the Youth in Action Programme and as an instrument for social recognition of youth work
To explore the meaning of recognition components (e.g. learning- to-learn, Key-competences, self-assessment) in educational practice with young people and by implementing Youthpass in training
To raise the awareness on the wider recognition context of non- formal learning through the reflection on the recent developments in youth and education policies in Europe
To enhance the networking to support the further recognition work by providing possibilities for participants to make contacts internationally and by identifying the potential and recourses for networking at their level of influence
To identify the capacity and strategies for multiplying the philosophy, idea and concept of Youthpass by developing concrete multiplying actions on personal, organisational and other levels
The target group are practitioners in non-formal education, and/or in training with young people and/or youth workers, project promoters, EVS mentors, trainers who are working directly involved in the Youth in Action programme using the Youth in Action programme preferably having an educational role in this process.
Participants from Belgium, Bulgaria, Estonia, Italy, Portugal, Norway, United Kindom, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Georgia, Russian Federation, Jordan, Serbia.

Group work, simulation games (with cards), discussion, peer-to-peer, debriefing.
The participants had the opportunity to deepen the understanding and knowledge of Youthpass. They could understand its potential as an instrument for social recognition of youth work, and to identify the strategies for multiplying the philosophy of the Youthpass by developing concrete multiplying actions.
