Aims & objectives

The main purpose of the training is to promote the street as a tool to encourage and motivate young people from disadvantaged / excluded to reintegrate into society, promoting the idea of ​​entrepreneurship and youth initiatives.
Additional objectives of the project: -włączenie young people from disadvantaged / excluded in society-limiting early school leaving by young people, in addition to involve them in participation in further training courses in order to enhance their skills
- Encourage young people (mostly without a job) to participate in the program as an opportunity to gain new competencies and skills to a better start in the labor market; -support young people from disadvantaged areas and disadvantaged
- To provide participants with the tools and skills to familiarize them with the work streetworkingową;
- Presenting work on the street as a space allowing them to carry out valuable initiatives and to reach the 'hard to reach' groups of young people;
- Commitment and equip young people with fewer opportunities in new skills, knowledge, competencies, values ​​education, which offers work from the street worker;
- Promote the values ​​of social responsibility and commitment to and promotion of the activities of NGOs

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Background: The target group are training youth workers, volunteers, youth leaders, and participants representing marginalized groups in their countries. Particular attention is paid to the selection of participants who are involved in activities with young people on a daily basis and are motivated to learn how to constructively resolve the conflict and violence in their organizations and their local community.
Needs: Selected participants have demonstrated the need to acquire new and improved tools to deal with the issue of the conflict, a profound understanding of conflicts in the context of his character and dynamics, further expanding the need for practical skills and tools to transform conflict and learn from them / draw constructive conclusions. The training will provide participants with a space for exchange and reflection on personal experiences. Second, participants will work in teams and develop action at the local level that will complement our course. At this stage, they will receive support from the trainers and the project team.
Selection: Selection of participants will be carried out by partner organizations using the application form. Each organization will select a total of three participants, from which at least two with fewer opportunities.

Our participants will count between 18 and 28 years old, coming from 6 countries: Poland, Italy, Latvia, Macedonia, Slovakia and Romania, 4 from each of them, a total of 24. The reason for such a choice in terms of age is the lack of formation of "age gap", which will allow them to operate much more efficiently and support each other's actions. Gender balance will be taken into account during the selection process carried out by partner organizations. By sending equal numbers of women and men project will have an equal number of participants of both sex- 12 men and women and 2 coaches. Selection of participants (2 women and 2 men from each organization will rest with the partners of the project) In addition, all activities, workshops and activities were developed with the behavior and taking into account the above balance.

Training methods used & main activities

During the meeting, an exchange of experiences, tools and training methods and the creation of new knowledge in the field of street work, as modern forms of active young people excluded. In all the activities included in the schedule will be involved participants from partner organizations. During the training course will also present a professional educator with many years of project experience, a coach who will be responsible for moderating the workshops and the proper implementation and dynamics of the whole process and coordinator, who will be helped with logistics and organization. The whole training course will be based on the methodology of non-formal education, during which we apply m.in .:

Some elements will be organized and prepared in advance by the participants, ie. The evening intercultural and presentations.

Outcomes of the activity

The training aims to develop concrete results and provide practical experience for participants that could help in developing competencies, acquire new knowledge, skills and lead to change their attitudes. The whole training course was based on the tools and methods derived methodology of non-formal education. The training will enable participants to develop new skills to work in an international environment; communication with participants from different backgrounds will deepen between cultural awareness and develop healthy attitudes between young people from different countries and cultures; Working in a diverse group, sharing their experiences, work in teams will support their professional development. Participants will reflect a sense of leadership and initiative during classes and after completion of training in their local communities. Our project is mainly to improve our work, thanks to which we can turn young people excluded back into society, to encourage participation in the program and limit early completion of the study. Therefore, participants will gain knowledge about the program and the opportunities that can give young people where to find information on planned projects, initiatives, etc., as well as European certificates ie. Europass and Youthpass.

- Communication in the mother tongue: learning in this regard falls on preparation before project evaluations among each country and prepare a mini-language lessons for other participants. It will also be needed in the context of a misunderstanding of the English language.
- Communicating in a foreign language: the main language is English project participants will naturally develop their knowledge of the language. The diverse group of participants will also practice other languages ​​of the countries partners.
- Mathematical competence and basic competences in science and technology: Science technology, project management and writing projects.

- Competence: will be developed before the project through communication via e-mail, social media, video conferencing. Also, after the exchange, the participants will be asked to disseminate the results on the Internet.
- Learning to learn: a large part of the project is devoted to this competence. Participants will learn the tools of self-esteem, various methodology reflection and self-analysis that will inspire them to reflect on their learning throughout life.
- Social and civic competences: working groups, participants will be asked to develop appropriate techniques approach to business in society and activate the public
- Initiative and entrepreneurship: the participants will be invited to work in an "open space" - an open space, where they will have the opportunity to develop new tools for conflict resolution, problem solving and thinking "outside the scheme". The whole process will be stimulated to conflict resolution on the activities of both local and international.
- Cultural awareness and expression: Speaking of their respective countries; culture; Historic background participants will support the development of this competence. Working together, often in mixed international teams will also ensure a continuous process of intercultural learning.
