TCA Connecting EU Youth Values trough Media

Aims & objectives

The aim of this activity is to support youth workers/leaders in increasing the quality of the Erasmus + Youth Programme and better knowing of European youth strategy within Media and other communication Tools.
1. Critically reflect upon their previous national / international experience(s)by relating EU and media and the impact on young people, organisations and wider community;
2. Increase the understanding of different quality aspects of Erasmus+ Youth in Action such as: active participation of young people, cooperation with partners, intercultural learning, and how to relate this thematic with Media as Programme Support Initiatives;
3. Experience a non-formal learning process and understand how to support young people's learning process in the project trough Media;
4. Improve their project management competences (knowledge, skills and attitudes) in order to better organise future applications to Erasmus+ Programme on KA1 and KA3.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Youth leaders from Spain and Portugal. All of them involved in University Radios and willing to promote E+.

Training methods used & main activities

Debates, workshops, games, LegoSeriousPlay, world cafe, online activities, badgecraft learning badges and lots of fun and good mood.

Outcomes of the activity

6 potential project ideas for future cooperation among the groups from Spain and Portugal. Discovering E+. Changing the perspective of the Portuguese-Spanish cooperation among youth organizations.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was full time trainer together with Antonio Benaches.
I was also responsible to work on the preparation and reporting of the training near the Portuguese Erasmus+ NA

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
