TC "Young Women on the Move"

Aims & objectives

The project was designed as a six-days international youth training course in Perea, Greece. It aimed at bringing 30 youth workers from Bulgaria, Greece, Armenia, France, Egypt and Macedonia in order to analyze the role of youth and youth organizations in integration of young migrant women in European societies.

An important topic was the role of youth work in protecting the rights and safety of young migrant women, particularly from labour abuses, sexual exploitation, trafficking and other exploitable situations.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The international group of participants was composed by 30 youth workers from Bulgaria, Greece, Armenia, France, Egypt and Macedonia

The international group of trainers was composed of 4 trainers from Bulgaria, Greece, France and Armenia.

Training methods used & main activities

Using the methods of human rights education and intercultural dialogue, the TC contributed to the personal development of participants; improve their social skills, intercultural communication and project writing and deepen their knowledge on the opportunities that the “Youth in Action” program offers to the young people.
