Aims & objectives

THE AIM OF THE TC :
* To give to youth leaders, youth workers, organisations activists, the chance to compare and share different and same parts of their cultures with others participants.

Training methods used & main activities

ALL METHODS IMPLEMENTED DURING THE TRAINING COURSE RELIED ON:
* NFE with active methods
* Peer Education and sharing of experiences
* Experts' inputs
* Inter-active évaluations (YouthPass process, mid-term evaluation, and final evaluation)

FOR EXAMPLE:
. Ice breakers and presentation games
. Energyzers
. Team building games
. Short outdoors games
. Creation of a FB group
. Active presentation of participating organisations (Open Market)
. Active national présentations on the topic of the TC with inter-active exchanges
. Play-role and theater games to introduce important issues, followed-up by debates
. Intercultural Evenings where a focus is requested on adding original présentations (in addition to usual Powerpoint présentations and buffet of specialities...)
. Visits to local places of interest to discover the local hosting environment
. On-site visit to meet local Azerbaïdjani NGO and a representative of the Council of Europe who made a short input on the opportunities of cooperation-projects between young people from the member states of this institution
. Inter-active presentation of YouthPass process
. Activities of producing main lines of future projects to be implemented further on, by small groups around topic chosen during an Open Space Technology short session specificaly dedicated to this purpose.
. Evaluation process:
1. Small groups of reflection each day (30 minutes) on "What I have learnt today ?" (part of the YouthPass process)
2. Inter-active collective mid-term evaluation with a common Target to fill-in and exchange of points of views between the participants
3. Final evaluation realised in 3 steps: a) Filling-in of an individual questionnaire b) Collective feed-back of National délégations abouot the whole TC c) Free words from each participants and beginning of the closure of the TC.
4. Awarding of the YouthPasses in a funny way at the restaurant with somekind of funny presentation.

Outcomes of the activity

This TC generated the following outcomes available on the FB group:
* Detailled presentation of the participating ONG
* Reports on the situation of the ethnic groups and their culture in the participating countries
* And other relevant collective productions...
* List of participants and contacts
* Daily realised programme of the TC
* And some photos as usual !

This TC generated the following projects that were approved further on:
* Project of the group working on a Youth Exchange project about "Inter-Religious dialogue as part of the challenge of living together in the same country and society" between countries of EU and Caucasus
* Project of the group working on a Youth Exchange about "Migrations and pro and cons of welcoming a new ethnic group with its culture in our own countries: challenges and ideas..."
* Project of the group working on a Youth exchange on "Discovering other cultures through sport, healthy life styles and cooking".

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

MY TASKS AS COORDINATOR AND SENIOR TRAINER OF THE TC HAVE BEEN:

Logistics:
* Monitoring and stimulating the logistician

During the TC:
* Responsible for the correct implementation of all the training sessions
* Using of participative methods inviting participants to bring and share their knowledge (for example) energyzers, different team-building games, YouthPass process...
* Responsible for the correct delivery of all YouthPasses to the participants
* Feeding of the FB group during and after the TC.

I worked on this training for 9 days days as a full time trainer.
