Aims & objectives

- To analyze the employment situation from the 50s of last century to the present and to aware young people about their role as European citizens, in order to develop new strategies of social youth inclusion through arts.
- To provide practical training tools in the field of social theater, clown and audiovisual to young European youth leaders, so they can use them in their interventions in fighting against poverty and marginalization caused by lack of work.
- To strengthen the relationship between people of different ages, in order to fortify the social community.
- To create a permanent working group at European level that attends social issues of European interest, providing job opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities in the field of arts; to strengthen the partnership between member associations of INCA Network and the link between local projects and international projects of the same network.
- To develop individual values​​: the personal challenge that propose different theatrical disciplines help us to develop the spirit of excellence and self-confidence; to improve self-esteem; to develop a sense of security and risk; to discover our capabilities and our limits; to develop creativity.
- To encourage group values​​: the performing arts are group's disciplines, where you learn that active participation, cooperation and group cohesion are essential to achieve a long-term objective.
- To facilitate and to develop integration through education for diversity, solidarity and interculturality.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

- Youth workers, educators and young artists coming from Spain, Portugal, Italy, UK, Romania and Turkey.
- Team composed by trainers from Italy, Spain, UK and Portugal.

Training methods used & main activities

- Non Formal Education methodology, implemented with non-formal learning based methods like groups dynamics, debates, simulations and groups of discussion.
- Working methods based on Social Theatre, Clown, Site Specific and Audiovisual techniques.

Outcomes of the activity

- Awareness of youth (un)employment situation in Europe and new strategies of social inclusion through arts.
- Consciousness of the importance of the relationship between people of different ages as base of social community.
- New competences in the field of Social Theatre, Clown, Site Specific and Audiovisual techniques.
- New networking projects among INCA Network partners.
- 1 final performance during Llinars del Vallès (Spain) fest, the 8th of September 2012.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

- Project coordinator.
- Trainer in charge of training sessions on teambuilding, theatre and drama, YiA Programme and Follow-Up.
- Trainer in charge of a reflection group of participants.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
