Aims & objectives

The main aim of this training course was to spread information about European Voluntary Service within the new programme Erasmus +.

Specific objectives were to promote the accreditation of new coordinating, hosting and sending organizations and to encourage young people, specially those with fewer opportunities, to participate in the programme.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

30 youngsters and youth workers from Spain interested in knowing more about European Voluntary Service.

Training methods used & main activities

- Simulation games.
- Exchange of experiences.
- Work in small and big groups.
- Interactive presentations.

Outcomes of the activity

After the training course, the team has kept in contact with the participants and we are happy to know that some of the youngsters are looking for hosting EVS projects and at least two of the participant organizations are preparing their accreditation to be hosting and/or sending EVS organizations.
