The group was made of 28 participants from Italy, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Romania, Spain and Portugal.

Training methods used & main activities

The Training Course was designed in all its phases as an experience that could provide insights and learning opportunities to its participants, not just putting them in the role of learners but offering insights from the perspective of citizens.
The Training Course was built on both individual and group learning, always respecting participants needs. To achieve the learning goals, the learning process was carefully planned and framed within the principles of Non Formal Education, experiential and self-directed learning. In practice it meant that a self-directed learning approach strongly supported by frequent reflections on experienced activities and the learning process was fostered. Every day, the "Reflection Groups" was set as a place to reflect and reinforce learning acquired. Each group was followed by one of the trainers, in order to reflect and evaluate the activities carried out, from the point of view of professional training.

Outcomes of the activity

The training activity was successful in achieving its learning goals, through experiential learning. During 7 days the activity had an impact on participants and on the hosting spot - seven simple projects were created and implemented and future partnerships were born. Project websites
