Aims & objectives

This mobility was within the framework of a KA2 project "ScaleUPcycling" whose consortium is formed by partners from Spain, Bulgary, Slovenia, Cyprus and Hungary.
The aim of the training week was to train the participants to learn more about the environment using the upcycled mindset.
Through non-formal education methods, they learnt all the phases to take into consideration to create products through this approach.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The trarining was addressed to:
- Youth workers --> 7
- Young people (16-29 y.o) --> total of 6
- Staff from the countries --> 6
Total of 19 participants
As in the previous description, the participants came from 6 different countries Spain, Bulgary, Slovenia, Cyprus and Hungary.

After this face to face activity, there will be an online training

Training methods used & main activities

In thismobility of the Cooperation Project, I was in charge of the full organisation of the training week.

For the training and the sessions I was in charge of, I used non-formal education methods. In my workshops the activities we made were:
- Creativity through LEGO
- Work in groups
- Presentations of the work small groups
- Discussions and reflection on the topic
- Creation of videos by the young participants and youth workers
- Discover environmental and people involve in upcycling activities in social media, let's say look for influencers in social media.

Outcomes of the activity

The training activity wanted:
- To promote the environmental and upcycling mindset in order to give the participants sustainable skills in the creation of upcycled products.
- To provide a theoretical and practical context in the topic with the youth and the community as leaders.
- To work in smalls groups.
- Visit Youth Centers and exchange good practices.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was part of the staff in the consortium who was in charge to organise the agenda of the event a prepare the workshops.
Logistic:
- Arrange and book the restaurants
- Arrange the visits to the Youth Centers
- Organise previous meeting with the partners to discuss about the content of the mobility
- Moderate the sessions considering the time
- Creating the agenda of the week together with the other partners
- Creating and implementing the workshops

Sessions:
- Introduction to the environmental, circular economy and debate.
- Communication to engage the community

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
