Aims & objectives

The harvesting conference wants to celebrate inclusion by bringing together two groups of participants:

Young persons that are experienced or interested in participating in an Erasmus + or European Solidarity Corps project, and are engaged with inclusion.
Youth workers representing an organisation or informal group that is experienced or interested in implementing inclusive projects in the Erasmus+ or European Solidarity Corps programmes.
The overall aim of the conference is to harvest the impact of and the practices that engage with working on inclusion and diversity in the EU Youth Programmes. The objectives are to...

... provide inspiration to participate in Erasmus+ or European Solidarity Corps youth projects.
... create a space for advocacy and co-creation.
... learn to implement inclusion projects by sharing methods, tools, and approaches.
... show the impact of inclusion projects by sharing (good) practices.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Youth workers, Youth leaders, Youth project managers, Youth coaches, Young persons (18-30) from more then 20 countries. In total around 100 participants.

Training methods used & main activities

A great mix of methods to accomodate such a big group. Basically we used non-formal learning and design thinking methods.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was one of the four facilitators designing the conference.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
